Mechanical Engineer II

Description:
A Mechanical Engineer job in Centennial, Colorado is available with one of Belcan's top Space clients. In this job you will use your skills and expertise to design, develop, test, certify, deploy and support cutting edge products & services. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and 3 or more years of relevant experience. This is a great contract opportunity with a great company. An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Mechanical Engineer job duties:
* Experience applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
* Experience in Engineering Simulation such as Finite Element structural Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Thermal Analysis
* Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Knowledgeable of industry standard mechanical design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware selection, manufacturing and production processes

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline and 3 or more years of relevant experience
* Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
* Experience with Computer Aided Engineering tools
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams
* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
