Systems Engineer III

Description:
Systems Engineer III job in Louisville, Colorado is available with one of Belcan's top aerospace clients. In this job you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product life-cycle. To qualify for this job you will be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; have an Bachelor degree, 5+ years of related experience; with strong Knowledge of requirements development, system design, integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
* Knowledge of requirements development, system design, integration, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
* Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
* Ability to define the needs of the production floor such as equipment required and also has some planning experience
* Experience writing work instructions for the production floor and experience working with large pieces of equipment
* Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
* Ability to administer baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
* Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
* The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required. Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
