Avionics Design Mechanical Drafter

Description:
An Avionics Design Mechanical Drafter job in Kent, WA is currently available through Belcan. In this role, you will be responsible for Design, analysis, development, and test of ruggedized electronics enclosures (3D and 3D drawings). To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and at least three years of electronics packaging experience. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Avionics Design Mechanical Drafter Job duties:
* Create LRU installation drawings and specifications as well as create interface definition, specification, and control documents
* Validate requirements through design, test or inspection
* Plan and conduct tests, review and interpret data
* Support electronics development and trade studies
* Maintain and report on activity schedule, budget and technical status

Qualifications:
* Experience with Creo 3.0, Windchill 10
* Strong electrical and mechanical design and integration skills using 3D CAD software
* Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT)
* Experience performing thermal and vibration analysis is preferred
