Stress/Structural Engineer

Description:
A Stress/Structural Engineer job in Centennial, Colorado is available with one of Belcan's top Space clients. In this job you will use your skills and expertise to design, evaluate, and certify cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You'll examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems. Your technical duties involve the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle.
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required

Stress/Structural Engineer job duties:
* Perform Stress Analysis
* Examine complex metallic and composite structures and systems
* Design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Structural, Stress, or related Engineering discipline and at least 6 years of relevant experience
* Prior experience in project definition, simulation, implementation, lab integration, and test
* Experience with NASGRO fatigue and fracture
* Experience with Femap/Nastran preferred
* An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required
