Equipment/Project Managers - Construction

Description:
* Support the Manufacturing Technology Center construction activities by acting as a liaison between Customers Innovation team and equipment OEMs, 3rd party partners, architects and customers General Contractor to provide specifications, acquisition, installation oversight, and acceptance testing of capital equipment.

Responsibilities
This position must have the ability to create functional technical specifications, produce concept designs and guide suppliers through quotation, design, installation and acceptance testing of complex industrial manufacturing equipment and systems
Liaison with Equipment Engineering personnel to comply with company procedures related to equipment procurement and installation and knowledge/ability in major equipment project management
Equipment layout sign-off
Equipment specification data transfer to Project Manager, Architect and General Contractor
Equipment Specs for Phase 2 priorities to launch RFP’s
Ensure contractor meets requirements as defined by the Equipment OEM and the MI team.
