Flight Control System Integration Lab Engineer

Description:
A Flight Control System Integration Lab Engineer job in Shelton, CT is currently available at Belcan. This job is a full-time, direct position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need at least a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering & five years of experience with flight control systems. You will be responsible for developing and creating systems integration lab requirements (Simulation, Visuals, Hardware, and Software); also electrical schematics, buying/integrating hardware, and verification/validation.

Flight Control System Integration Lab Engineer job duties:
* Create FCSIL requirements (Simulation, Visuals, FCSIL Hardware and FCSIL Software)
* Create electrical schematics
* Software verification/validation
* Buying and integrating hardware
* Run test procedures and scripts
* Write system level test procedures in DOORS

Qualifications and Desired Skills:
* BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
* Five to 10+ years of experience with SIL development preferably in the Aviation field
* Hands-on electronic/simulation hardware knowledge
* Experience with hardware/software purchasing and working with suppliers
* Knowledge in 1553 Bus Analysis, DOORS Requirements Database, DO-178B / DO-254
* Experience in Control Laws and Control Theory
* Experience with MATLAB and Simulink
* Due to the nature of our work US Citizenship is required
